    Community Questions. Real Answers.

What does effective leadership actually look like in our community?

Effective leadership means showing up, listening, and delivering real results not just making promises. It’s about being present in our neighborhoods, advocating for families, and making decisions that improve everyday life. Leadership is accountability, action, and putting people first  every single time.

State government must become more responsive, transparent, and focused on real needs. That means investing in our schools, fixing our infrastructure, supporting small businesses, and ensuring public safety. It’s about bringing resources back to Flint and making sure our community gets the attention and funding it deserves.

Our community faces challenges like aging infrastructure, underfunded schools, public safety concerns, and affordable housing shortages. Solving these issues takes collaboration — between leaders, residents, and local organizations. Together, we can create solutions that are practical, sustainable, and focused on long-term growth.

Your voice shapes the future of our community. Every vote determines the direction of our schools, neighborhoods, and opportunities. When you participate, you ensure that leadership reflects your values and priorities. Real change starts when people stand up, speak out, and get involved.
